About this song download:
'Per Sempre' is written by Steve Balsamo and Ben Robbins. Rebecca was pitched this song in 2015 and recorded an orchestral arrangement with the City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra, when looking for album songs for her follow up album to Dare to Dream, her number 1 classical album from 2014. However, due to soon after falling pregnant and scaling back on her career, the song release ended up being put on hold.
Although the song is about loss, it is mostly about how it feels to know you were loved. Following the sudden death of her husband in 2020, at only 38, this song became a lot more poignant for Rebecca. Her post-loss journey saw many ups and downs, including two Covid lockdowns with a 3 year old child, and navigating her new life as a solo, widowed parent. During that time, the peer to peer support charity WAY - Widowed and Young became a source of fantastic support for Rebecca, so she has dedicated this song release as a way to repay that support, raising money and - crucially - awareness for the charity.
The song is currently being reworked and recorded, and will be available to download as a finished product soon. By buying this product today, you are preordering the download, which will be emailed to you when the song is complete. Due to challenges beyond Rebecca's control, the song download has been delayed but will be available as soon as possible. You can still order it in the meantime and support the charity.
